Life is a journey, from start to finish, and it's a journey that we all take.
And throughout that journey, Whether it is personal, or physical or financial we all want to achieve something and to arrive at a level of success in our endeavors; And during our lifetime, we set goals for ourselves, things we want to achieve, places we want to go, etc.
It is during our childhood, during the growing and learning stage of our lives that we have the greatest dreams, hopes and aspirations for the future and for some of us, we achieve those goals to some level of success or other - but for many of us, a lot of those dreams have alluded us.
And we have cast them into the dark areas of our memory so that we do not have to look at all of the things we have not achieved. But there are those times, when life is quiet and we are left to our our thoughts that these unaccomplished dreams come back to haunt us - especially those that have been with us since early in our lives.
Something has held us back! Circumstances, opportunity, whatever, has worked against us in achieving those most precious of dreams; so as we go through life, we set other goals, smaller, less challenging and often less rewarding than those we first set in our lives. And yet, success continues to elude us at every turn.
Why is this so?
The two most important contributors to our lack of success are:
Firstly - self-doubt or lack of self-belief. Something inside of us tells us that whatever it is we are trying to achieve we will either be very lucky if we succeed or that we really are not worthy of the achievement.
And secondly - we really do not try. Quite often due to the influence of the first contributor, we really do not go out and try to attain that dream or that goal.
All I can say to you is this - "you can do it", “you do deserve it” so "Just do it".
Now these are my words, but they are more eloquently stated in "Thought Vibration" by William Walker Atkinson. Written in 1906 and often cited as the inspiration for the Napoleon Hill classic "Think and Grow Rich" and a multitude of similar publications.
You can receive a free copy of this publication (it's in the public domain) by clicking here and putting “Thought Vibration” in the subject line of the E-mail and send it to me.
